Our Privacy Policy is divided into two sections; the first part applies to our specific business data that we collect, process and/or manage on behalf of our clients, while the second part applies to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Syvylyze.
PART I
Personal data
We extract and manage specific business data of our clients with their express and explicit permission. We do not compile, extract or store any
personal information related to any individual or account where we have not been granted explicit permissions, other than any data already
available in the public domain.
How we collect data
We use scripted algorithms to establish authenticated access, based on permissions granted to us explicitly by our clients or as provided by
the platform itself, to the Application Performance Interface (API) of SaaS applications, social platforms and other cloud hosted platforms, in
order to access and collect data pertaining to their business profiles and/or accounts. Our clients also on occasion share data with us as
stand alone offline files or provide access to their enterprise systems for data extraction.
How we use your data
The data is used to perform different types of analytics as per solution requirements such as Descriptive Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Data
Visualization using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI and use open source technology such as Python, JavaScript, D3.js, etc.
When we share your data
We share or disclose your data with your consent or at your direction, such as when you authorize a third-party web client or application to
access your account or when you direct us to share the data with a partner/vendor. We may share your data with vendors, consultants and
other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work or perform services on our behalf. However, all such activities are covered under our Non-Disclosure Agreements with such service providers. Legal process - Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy or controls we may otherwise offer to you, we may preserve, use, or disclose your data if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to protect the safety of any person; to protect the safety or integrity of our entity. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third party’s, including a government’s, request to disclose your data.
How we store your data
We take reasonable measures to help protect the data we collect from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and
destruction. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute
security of any data, beyond reasonable measures within our control.
Where your data lives
Data that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate. All data that you
provide to us or is extracted on your behalf, is stored on our secure servers. We use a mix of cloud servers and physical servers hosted at
reputed data centers to offer our products and solutions.
How long we keep your data
We retain your data as per the terms specified in our mutual contract. We will securly delete your data once the contract has been completed
and/or terminated by either party.
